Earthwise Packaging One-Year Limited Warranty – SST System and SST SE Shrink Sleeve Machines
WHAT IS COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY?
Earthwise Packaging warrants its Earthwise Packaging-branded hardware products against defects in materials and workmanship when used normally and in accordance with Earthwise Packaging’s guidelines for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of the original retail purchase by the end-user purchaser (“Warranty Period”). This warranty is valid only for the original owner.
ADDITIONAL COVERAGE INFORMATION FOR SPECIFIC PRODUCTS:
- One (1) year on the SST System Machine and the SST SE Machine
- One (1) year on the laptop computer and printer
- One (1) year on all 3D-printed steamheads (both V1 and V2), water bottle caps, and star nuts
WHAT IS NOT COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY?
Earthwise Packaging does not guarantee that its products will operate without interruption or errors. Additionally, Earthwise Packaging is not responsible for damage resulting from failure to follow instructions regarding proper product use.
This warranty does not cover:
(a) Calcium, lime, or rust buildup over time due to poor-quality water used in the SST System/SST SE machines, including internal components such as the boiler, internal plumbing, and steamhead.
(b) Cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents, and broken plastic on ports, unless the failure is due to a defect in materials or workmanship.
(c) Damage caused by using the product with third-party components that do not meet Earthwise Packaging’s specifications.
(d) Damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, fire, earthquake, or other external causes.
(e) Damage resulting from operating the product outside of Earthwise Packaging’s published guidelines.
(f) Damage caused by unauthorized service or repairs performed by anyone other than Earthwise Packaging or an Earthwise Packaging Authorized Service Provider (EPASP).
(g) Modifications that alter the functionality or capability of the product without written permission from Earthwise Packaging.
(h) Defects caused by normal wear and tear or the natural aging of the product.
(i) Products with serial numbers that have been removed or defaced.
(j) Cases where Earthwise Packaging receives information from public authorities that the product has been reported stolen, or where the user cannot provide proof of authorized ownership.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
BEFORE RECEIVING WARRANTY SERVICE, Earthwise Packaging or its agents may require proof of purchase, responses to troubleshooting questions, and compliance with Earthwise Packaging’s warranty service procedures.
Earthwise Packaging’s sole responsibility under this warranty is to repair or replace defective items. This warranty does not cover defects not caused by Earthwise Packaging.
WHAT WILL EARTHWISE PACKAGING DO IF THIS WARRANTY IS BREACHED?
If you submit a claim within the Warranty Period following the required procedures, Earthwise Packaging, at its discretion, will:
- Repair the product using new or refurbished parts that meet performance and reliability standards equivalent to new.
- Replace the product with a functionally equivalent item made from new and/or refurbished components that meet performance and reliability standards.
In some cases, Earthwise Packaging may require you to replace certain user-installable parts or components.
