EP-2507 BioMax™ Plant-Based Containers – Jar and Cap - 2500 Quantity

Eco-Friendly, Sustainable Packaging

This container is made from a sustainable, plant-based material, derived from sugarcane. This material is a renewable HDPE bioplastic we call BioMax™. The process follows harvesting sugarcane, extracting the ethanol from the plant, and converting that ethanol into a plant-based HDPE. The production of our sugarcane material is about 97% carbon neutral. This is due to the CO2 the sugarcane plant swallowed from the Earth’s atmosphere. Another benefit of these containers is that they are 100% recyclable and can be fed into the material cycle together with other HDPE materials as it is classified as a #2 recyclable.

Lightweight Threaded Jars

This container is a single wall jar. Single-wall jars are thin and lightweight. They’re called “single wall jars” to distinguish them from the 2-piece double wall jars. It is strong and impact-resistant.

Tamper-Evident Foil Seal and Side-Seal Screw Top Containers

These containers come with the option of a classic side seal cap or a tamper-evident foil seal cap. A side-seal cap is often used to prevent gas vapors from escaping and water, dust, and debris from entering the container.

The foil seal cap comes with tamper-evident foil seals that also create an airtight and waterproof seal under a twist-and-turn cap. These foil seals are usually administered with an induction machine.
