About the Earthwise Packaging SST Shrink Sleeve Labeling Machine

The Earthwise Packaging™ SST is a portable take on the room-sized steam tunnels often used with shrink sleeves. The SST takes up only 4 square feet of space to operate. We refer to this as a shrink-sleeve labeling machine because we think this machine can replace the need for traditional labels in our industry. Traditional glued labels can peel off and can be easily damaged. The glue leaves a residue on the container. Often an extra shrink band is needed over your label if your state requires tamper-evident packaging. Labeling machines constantly break and need to be recalibrated. Shrink sleeve labels are the future. They are not glued to the container so customers can remove the entire sleeve and leave a clean container. This blank container could then be re-used or recycled easier. Shrink sleeve labels wrap around the entire container and have a built-in tamper-evident perforation. It only takes a one-second drop down the SST steam chute to shrink the sleeve to your container. There is no recalibrating the SST, just turn it on and start dropping containers down the chute.
