SST Shrink Band Applicator Steam Head Attachment

This steam head is specifically designed to be attached to our SST shrink-sleeve machine. It allows the user to quickly transform the machine into a shrink band machine, making it suitable for containers that range from 13mm to 61mm in width. The steam cavity guarantees a perfectly sealed shrink band in only 1-2 seconds. Additionally, the design captures and funnels any excess moisture back into the water reservoir, greatly reducing condensation dripping from the head.

SST ‘SE’ – Shrink Band Applicator Machine

The SST ‘SE’ Shrink Band Machine offers a compact and portable solution for applying tamper-evident shrink bands to containers, making large steam tunnels and slow heat guns unnecessary. With a minimal operational footprint of just 4 square feet and a 2-square-foot table space requirement, the SST ‘SE’ provides efficiency in a small package.

This innovative machine delivers performance comparable to automatic industrial banding equipment without the bulk. The SST ‘SE’ enables quick and effortless application of tamper-evident shrink bands to containers within just one second by holding the shrink band within the steam-head chamber.

Shrink Band Steam Head Sizing

Choosing which size steam head you want will ultimately depend on the diameter of the container where the shrink band will be placed.
The diameter of the container should be at least 2mm lower than that of the steam head however the closer the steam head's diameter is to that of the container will result in a cleaner seal. Below are the diameters that fit with each steam head for our Screw-Tops line of containers:
